Morgan’s Message® Education Program
Our Morgan’s Message® Education Program (MMEP) operates through a volunteer Ambassador system with three arms of active leaders and advocates. Our Ambassadors are critical to supporting and achieving our mission and vision at Morgan’s Message®. Together, we are taking a shot at mental health!
In September 2020, we began MMEP with volunteer student-athlete Campus Ambassadors on high school and collegiate campuses. Campus Ambassadors are active peer-to-peer leaders of Morgan’s Message® chapters on campus, conducting monthly meetings and hosting larger events that promote mental health awareness in the community.
This program is for students who are 14+ years old and currently enrolled in high school or college/university.
To broaden our reach, we introduced At-Large Ambassadors, allowing adults (anyone who is not a current student/student-athlete) to support our mission. Our At-Large Ambassadors are divided into four groups: Former Student-Athletes, Parents, Athletic Staff, and Mental Health Advocates. At-Large Ambassadors meet virtually on Zoom bi-monthly (every two months).
This program is for adults who are not current high school or collegiate students/student-athletes.
Club sports play a significant role in young athletes' lives and are an ideal environment to introduce mental health conversations. Club & Youth Sports Organizations can help spread Morgan’s Message® within their sports programs. We provide guidance on integrating Morgan’s Message within your club, equipping you with best practices, resources, and skills for a successful program.
This program is for club & youth sports organizations interested in integrating Morgan’s Message within their program.
